Synopsis

Buku ini mengupas fenomena konsumtivisme modern yang dititulis dengan pendekatan teoretis dan empiris, buku ini membahas faktor psikologis, sosial, dan budaya yang memicu perilaku konsumtif di masyarakat modern.

Pembaca diperkenalkan pada konsep gaya hidup konsumtif yang tidak hanya terkait dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan, tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai simbol identitas, status sosial, dan pencitraan diri. Konsep ini dijelaskan melalui kajian teoretis yang diperkuat dengan data empiris dan contoh kasus nyata. Pembahasan berlanjut pada perilaku impulse buying, di mana penulis menjelaskan karakteristik, penyebab, serta hubungannya dengan gaya hidup konsumtif. Faktor-faktor pemicu seperti diskon, pengaruh media sosial, dan kemudahan belanja online diuraikan secara komprehensif, didukung hasil penelitian yang relevan. Dampak perilaku konsumtif dan impulse buying dari aspek finansial, psikologis, dan sosial juga dijelaskan dalam buku ini. Dampak negatif seperti stres finansial, utang konsumtif, dan pengaruh terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis dibahas secara terperinci, memberikan gambaran menyeluruh mengenai risiko perilaku ini. Buku ini tidak hanya mengidentifikasi masalah, tetapi juga menawarkan solusi praktis. Disajikan panduan dan strategi untuk mengendalikan impulse buying serta membentuk pola konsumsi yang lebih bijak. Penulis memberikan langkah-langkah praktis berbasis penelitian, yang dirancang untuk membantu pembaca mengevaluasi pola konsumsi dan membuat keputusan pembelian yang lebih rasional. Buku ini memberikan wawasan yang seimbang dan solutif tentang konsumtivisme di era modern yang dipenuhi godaan konsumsi dan kemudahan akses belanja
